Bonded by Thorns... finished

 Come read with me... I finished the book

I cant put these down and just devour the story!  Its emotional and fast moving and I feel for Rosalina.

She is fitting in with the Princes, who keep holding back from her. Especially Kel.

But the scariest thing of all is the more time I spend here, the less I feel like a prisoner and more like another member of the household, desperate to break this curse.

And as she's getting more comfortable and confident, can see them with their flaws.

Every day, I am less and less surprised these idiots have not broken the curse.

She promised to help them find their mates and struggled alot with the dance/ball. The people of Winter were not inviting to her and seem very biased, to both her and their prince.
But considering hes been hiding for 25 years it's not surprising. He trusts the person who he left behind.... Who also tries to get rid of Rosalina... until her actual knight in shining armour saves her.

And then Cassian comes. He just cant seem to stay away from any of them!

The ending of the book is fast moving.
She escapes from the ball, Cassian is cryptic and she thinks he is lying.
Then she goes to the forbidden tower. And at least gets to see how the curses started.

Ezryn the vigilante looking for vengeance. Dayton the fool who looks for pleasure to escape his responsibilities (fate), Farron the coward who is let's his realm rot and pretends not to see it and Keldarion who is the protector and doesn't protect anyone because he is self (and heart broken?)

You can see how Rosalina loves and claims all of them and when she looks at the roses ans wants to save the roses, she wants to save her princes.

First, the rose of Spring [pink petals and is shrouded in emerald light] I think of Ezryn, of his hands on mine as he healed my wound. Of the strength holding all his broken pieces together. He’s a mystery, one I desperately want to solve.

The rose of Summer [turquoise petals in yellow light]. I think of Dayton’s secret smile, the rarest treasure. The heat of his kiss, the warmth I felt in his arms. He has so much to give; I will see he has the chance.

The rose of Autumn [brilliant orange shining with a dark red]. My darling Farron. The first person in my whole life who I would consider a true friend, one who truly knows me. I want more days in the library with him, and I want the chance at a night too.

The rose of Winter [a startling blue]. My Winter Prince. My Keldarion. My captor and my savior. I need to tell him that. Tell him he saved me in so many ways. Tell him he can save himself. I know he can.

And she can save them, if Kel let's them. And for the realm protector he really is selfish and only protecting himself.

The flowers I’ve touched… Their stems straighten. The petals bloom.

And Kel tells her to go. Sure he didnt mean back to the human world at first. But when the opportunity presents itself, that is what he does.
Cassian also shows up speaking in her head... and where did we hear about when that can happen 🤔 😉

After all they went through and after the mate bond presents in Rosalina. The mate bond that is so special, and he denies it to her.
He takes away any of her choices and banishes her. After all she did for them and what she brought into Castletree.

With an ending like that.... I HAD to keep reading!
